Angels Saving Those In Need is a 501c3 organization founded in 2014. Our mission is to fund and aid dogs in need that have run out of options and are on the verge of being euthanized in shelters or are losing their homes. Since conception the charity has saved over 3 dozen lives in its short existence. Many of those saved are dogs with severe medical issues that required thousands of dollars in vetting. After they have been completely vetted and are healthy, they go up for adoption. We do an amazing job of providing each dog with their new forever family where they are loved for the rest of their lives. Angels Saving Those In Need has been concentrating on Spaniels, but does not discriminate based on breed or age.

We have registered the name Spaniel Haven Rescue separately to strictly focus on Spaniels while the Angels Saving Those In Need focuses on all breeds and helping other rescues or individuals. Our oldest dog saved is 14 and is in a great foster home until he finds his forever family and the youngest rescued were 1 week old puppies who’s mom was suffering seizures and she couldn’t care for them.

The rescue has saved two spaniels that were paralyzed and unable to walk. Both had been suffering for many months.  After an MRI, it was discovered that they both needed surgery for a slipped/herniated disk and are now healthy and running/jumping happily around their new homes. There are many amazing stories of these heroic rescues and we look forward to hundreds more.

This rescue relies on donations to fund the Veterinary bills, food and supplies needed to save these dogs. Please consider a donation to help save a life. The rescue is currently looking for a new facility to better accommodate more dogs in the Scottsdale area, but in the meantime it operates out of our founders guest house (affectionately named Cocker-Inn) and many fosters that open their homes.
